High above the Tucson basin is the site of the Arroyo House. Breathtaking views and close proximity to the pristine desert surroundings make this area both a wonderful and challenging place to live, requiring the utmost in environmental responsibility. Integration and respect for the existing context provides the reward of living as a part of the desert – witness to its miraculous life and overwhelming beauty. Line and Space acted as both architect and builder for this home.

The project has received Honor Awards from the American Institute of Architects Southern Arizona Chapter, Arizona Chapter and Sunset Magazine's Western Home Awards, and has been included in multiple tours of Arizona Architecture hosted by the Smithsonian Institution.
